Holly Docherty

Business Development Manager

Holly is the Business Development Manager based at our Stafford office and works alongside Directors Jane Matthewman, Steve Kirwan, Debby Hackney and Carly Colclough.

Holly is responsible for:

  • Assisting the Directors in accelerating the growth and development of the practice
  • Maximising business potential and developing partnerships
  • Marketing projects including the management of all social media platforms
  • Coordinating events both internally and externally
  • Developing Nowell Meller’s presence within the community and support of local charities

Holly’s Approach: Holly has a professional, friendly nature and strives to develop strong, long-lasting partnerships. She has excellent organisational, communication and people skills and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Priding herself on first class customer service, Holly can adapt to the unique needs of each partnership and project.

Holly is a passionate professional with a “can-do” attitude and will always go the extra mile for colleagues, clients and business associates. With a cheerful and friendly disposition, Holly is always happy to help.

Holly grew up in Staffordshire and went on to study Music, Theatre & Entertainment Management at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts where she graduated with a First-Class BA (Hons).

Holly worked in the Entertainment and Music industry for several years in various roles such as Artist Liaison Management, Tour Production & Management and Event Management.

Holly relocated back to Staffordshire in 2015 to begin work in the charity sector where she has worked in Marketing, Events, Corporate Fundraising and Development.

Holly lives with her fiancé and enjoys getting stuck into a box set or film, going to concerts, spending time with family and friends and is a self-confessed ‘foodie’.

Nowell Meller Journey: Holly has worked alongside Nowell Meller for several years partnering on charity projects and developing initiatives such as The Bears Lair before joining as the Business Development Manager in 2020.
