Solicitor - Business and Corporate Services

Adam is a Solicitor in our Business & Corporate Services team, working alongside Managing Director Steve Kirwan. He is based at our Stafford office and qualified in 2024.

Adam advises clients across a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including:

  • Private M&A (share and asset acquisitions and disposals)
  • Corporate reorganisations and group structuring
  • Joint ventures and shareholder agreements
  • Company purchase of own shares
  • General corporate advisory and governance matters
  • Company formation and any other corporate related matters
  • Pro bono advisory work supporting access to justice initiatives

Adam acts for a diverse client base, ranging from small local businesses through to larger corporations, founder-led and owner-managed businesses, funds and investment vehicles, family offices, as well as high-growth and scaling companies.

His experience spans a range of sectors, with a particular focus on fast-moving, commercially driven transactions.

Adam’s Approach: He is known for being highly responsive, detail-oriented and commercially focused. He takes a pragmatic approach to transactions, ensuring that legal solutions align with the client’s broader strategic objectives. Colleagues and clients value his ability to manage complex workstreams efficiently, communicate clearly, and maintain momentum on transactions. He is particularly strong in coordinating multiple stakeholders and delivering under pressure while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.

Personal Background - Adam has developed both personally and professionally in the West Midlands, with strong ties to Birmingham. He studied Law LLB (Hons) at the University of Birmingham, where he achieved a first-class honours degree and was actively involved in academic and extracurricular initiatives, including legal research and client-facing competitions.

Adam has also completed the Legal Practice Course alongside an MSc in Business and Management at the University of Law, achieving a Distinction.

During this time, Adam built the foundations of his commercial and legal skillset, combining academic excellence with practical experience. He remained in Birmingham to complete his legal training and begin his career, gaining exposure to high-quality corporate work while continuing to develop his technical and client-facing abilities.

Having spent formative years living and working in West Midlands, Adam has a strong connection to the local business and professional community.

Adam speaks Polish fluently and has conversational proficiency in Italian.

Outside of law, Adam is a dedicated gym enthusiast and qualified personal trainer.

Pre Qualification - Adam trained at an international law firm, gaining experience across corporate and commercial matters, with early exposure to complex transactions and high-value deal environments.

Post Qualification - Since qualifying, Adam has focused on corporate M&A, advising on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions.

He has developed strong experience in managing deal processes end-to-end, supporting senior stakeholders and delivering commercially aligned outcomes.

He has also been recognised internally for his proactivity, responsiveness and attention to detail, consistently contributing to high-performing deal teams.

Adam has a strong interest in innovation within legal practice, particularly in improving efficiency, transaction execution and client delivery through smarter use of technology and process optimisation.

He is also actively involved in networking and professional development initiatives, including organising industry events for professionals within the legal and financial services sectors.
