Trainee Solicitor Niamh Jennings Takes on London to Paris Relay Challenge for Charity

This month, one of our Trainee Solicitors, Niamh Jennings took on an incredible challenge - running from London to Paris as part of a five-person relay team to raise money for two inspiring charities: Parkinson's UK and Regain Sports Charity.

Over four days, the team covered a remarkable 260 miles, averaging roughly a half marathon each per day, before reaching the finish line at the iconic Eiffel Tower.

Reflecting on the experience, Niamh said:

“Over four days, we covered a combined 260 miles (roughly a half marathon each per day) before crossing the finish line at the Eiffel Tower. The lack of sleep and the blisters were definitely worth it to help raise money for two amazing charities, Parkinson’s UK and Regain Sports Charity. It was a very testing couple of days battling extreme heat and thunderstorms, but also an unforgettable experience with an incredible team.”

Parkin's UK works to improve the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s through research, support services, campaigning, and funding groundbreaking treatments.

Regain Sports Charity helps people who have become tetraplegic through sporting injuries by providing practical support, equipment, and opportunities to stay active and independent.

The determination, resilience, and teamwork shown throughout the challenge is truly inspiring, and we are incredibly proud of Niamh for taking on such an ambitious fundraiser in support of two worthwhile causes.

Congratulations, Niamh, on an outstanding achievement!
