She takes pride in bringing a positive attitude to everything she does and enjoys brightening someone's day, whether that's through offering assistance, sharing a smile, or simply being a supportive presence for colleagues and clients alike.

Qualifications: Law Degree from Birmingham City University

Jess has built her career across both the legal and financial sectors, developing a strong eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for helping people. Having recently made the move to Stafford, she is fully embracing life in this beautiful historic town and enjoying discovering all that it has to offer.

Away from work, Jess is a proud history enthusiast who loves exploring the stories, people, and events that have shaped the world around us. When she's not indulging her inner history geek, you'll most likely find her enjoying a bit of reality TV – her one guilty pleasure and favourite way to unwind.

She earned her law degree from Birmingham City University, where she was an active member of the Debate Society and a founding member of the University's Legal Litigation Practice Club, serving as its Head of Finance.

Throughout her career, Jess has enjoyed opportunities to work across a variety of roles, but it was her time supporting finance teams that truly sparked her interest. Working closely with figures, budgets, and financial processes helped her develop a genuine passion for finance and an appreciation for the role that accuracy and analysis play in driving success

Following a personal loss, Jess gained a new perspective on life and the importance of pursuing a career that brings both purpose and fulfilment. The experience reinforced her belief that life is too short not to do what you enjoy, leading her to focus on a path that combines her passion for finance with the opportunity to help others achieve their goals. Since then, she has found real satisfaction in working with people, building relationships, and making a positive difference through her work.

Nowell Meller Journey: Jess joined Nowell Meller in June 2026. She looks forward to building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike, and hopes to become a warm, approachable, and efficient member of the business, delivering the high level of service and support that clients deserve.
