Alex Bradbury

Alex is a qualified Solicitor, specialising in Commercial Property, based at the firm’s Newcastle office. She is part of the firms Commercial Property Department which has a strong reputation in Staffordshire, Cheshire and surrounding areas.

Alex is able to advise the clients on a broad range of commercial property matters to include:

• Sales – Throughout her career she has acted frequently in relation to the sale of commercial properties including both freehold land and building, leasehold property, auction sales, vacant properties, and occupied sites.
• Purchases – Alex has acted on behalf of buyers of commercial property for numerous purposes including development, investment and trade purposes. Many of the transactions have included funding through borrowing.
• Landlord and Tenant matters – She has acted on a number of lease transactions for both landlord and tenant dealing with existing tenant’s and new tenant’s, including associated lease work such as agreement for lease, licence for works and option to purchase.
• Commercial finance and refinance – Alex has acted for both borrowers and lenders on numerous transactions where parties are raising finance on existing assets such as property portfolios for both residential and commercial property and also new build development sites.
• Development – Alex's work for development includes acquiring the development land, dealing with refinance to fund the development, wayleave agreements, site set up and plot sales.

Approach: Alex works closely with client’s and their associated team to find out what work and solutions are required in order to assist, and progress matters efficiently. She ensures that she is always professional and approachable with the ability to work on high pressured transactions for clients whilst maintaining a clear, organised and focused approached to ensure that the client’s requirements are always met to a high standard.

Clients: The commercial property team at Nowell Meller act for a number of clients including professional organisations, charities, community groups and developers as well as a wide range of clients from the manufacturing, food, health and retail industry

Accreditations: Alex completed her law degree in 2012 and Legal Practice Course in 2013 graduating with a Distinction. She qualified as a solicitor in 2015.
