Our dynamic Private Client department is at the core of what we do, offering clear, compassionate, and expert advice on a range of matters including Wills, LPA’s, Trusts and probate and administration matters.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and professional individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
You will work closely with experienced lawyers providing essential support on a varied caseload to :
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Private Client team.
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
- Open and maintain client files in accordance with internal procedures and compliance requirements.
- Liaise professionally with clients and third parties, ensuring excellent client service at all times.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and post, directing or responding as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security.
- Manage filing systems (electronic and paper-based), archiving, and document retrieval.
- Assist with onboarding new clients, including conflict checks and ID verification.
- Undertake any additional administrative tasks as required by the department.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:
- Experience as a legal or private client secretary.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and case management.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Discreet and professional approach with a high level of integrity.
- Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills.
- A strong collaborative work ethic.
