Solicitor / Legal Executive - Family Department

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our creative and friendly Family Team. The role will cover our Stafford/Newcastle-under-Lyme offices but may be required to work at our other offices from time to time.

We are looking for someone dynamic and who works well within a team.  The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, show keen initiative and provide excellent client care.  Applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • good experience, with a strong background in family law;
  • be motivated;
  • have a positive outlook;
  • efficient organisation and time management skills;
  • communicate clearly effectively at all levels, both in writing and in person;
  • commerciality; and
  • have a compassionate and caring approach with all clients, contacts and colleagues.

This role will include (but not limited to):

  • managing all client work as allocated by the Head of Department;
  • ensuring all client work is progressed expeditiously;
  • ensuring that the client is kept regularly informed of progress and costs;
  • emphasis is placed on high levels of client care;
  • advocacy; and
  • an expectation of a professional and pleasant manner at all times.

Paralegal - Family Department

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Paralegal to join our creative and friendly Family Team. The role will be based in our Newcastle-under-Lyme office but may be required to work at our other offices from time to time.

We are looking for someone dynamic and who works well within a team.  The ideal candidate will show keen initiative to assist the team, be forward thinking and provide excellent client care.  Applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • good legal office experience, with some knowledge of family law;
  • good IT skills;
  • be motivated;
  • have a positive outlook;
  • efficient organisation and time management skills;
  • communicate clearly effectively at all levels, both in writing and in person; and
  • have a compassionate and caring approach with all clients, contacts and colleagues.

This role will include (but not limited to):

  • supporting the team in managing all client work as allocated by the Head of Department;
  • ensuring all client work is progressed expeditiously;
  • ensuring that the client is kept regularly informed of progress and costs;
