Commercial Property/New Build Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Legal Secretary/Assistant to join our Commercial Property/New Build Team. The role will be working closely with a Solicitor and an Assistant in our Newcastle office.

Our Commercial Property Team is spread across our offices in Stafford, Alsager and Newcastle and acts for a variety of clients in their property needs, whether it be retail premises, industrial premises or multi-let residential premises. We also act for niche developers, from land acquisition through to eventual plot sales.

This varied role involves e-filing using our case management system, audio typing and preparation of emails, correspondence and legal documents, photocopying and scanning, preparing bills and completion statements, file opening and closing.

Applicants must have previous legal experience but this can be in residential or commercial, in a secretarial or admin role. Experience using Tikit would be useful. Full support and training will be available throughout your time at Nowell Meller.

Residential Property Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary/Assistant to join our Residential Property Team. The role will be working closely with a Director, a Solicitor and an Assistant in our Stafford Office.  

We act primarily for buyers of new-build retirement properties but we also act for individuals in private sales and purchases.

This varied role involves the opening of files on our case management system, e-filing,  audio typing and preparation of emails, correspondence and legal documents, photocopying and scanning, preparing bills and completion statements, file opening and closing.

Applicants must have previous relevant legal experience and experience using Partner would be beneficial.  The applicant needs to be able to work well under pressure.  Full support and training will be available throughout your time at Nowell Meller.
