Kevin Barnsley

Accounts & Compliance

Kevin undertakes accounts and compliance duties working alongside the Finance Manager, Sandra Barnsley and the Board of Directors. 

Kevin's responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of Client and Office Account Ledgers
  • Ensuring transactions relating to house completions proceed in a timely manner
  • Maintaining bank reconciliations
  • General office administration
  • Working with suppliers 
  • Compliance and Lexcel 

Kevin's Approach:  Kevin is calm under pressure and has an astute attention to detail. 

  

Personal Background: Kevin was born and resides in Staffordshire. He enjoys walking, DIY, listening to music, socialising and visiting places of interest all over the UK.

Career: Kevin is a Chartered Buyer; he has a Masters Diploma in Procurement and Logistics (PGDip) (MCIPS) and an HNC in Business and Finance. His career in Procurement has spanned the Electronics, Space & Defence and Automotive Industries for 30 years. Working on large procurement projects for NATO, The MOD, prestige OEM Automotive Manufacturers and large outsourced service provisions.

Nowell Meller Journey: An opportunity to pursue personal goals and to also work in an alternative professional business sector with an ethos and culture focussed on the local community has led Kevin to become a member of the Nowell Meller family in January 2023
