Louise is based at our Stafford office and as well being responsible for the running of that office is primarily responsible for office administration within the firm. Louise joined Nowell Meller as a junior in 1991 and is now our longest serving member of staff.
Louise was born in Wolverhampton and raised in Willenhall until she was 10 years old and then moved to the Stafford region where she has lived ever since. When she left school she undertook a Business Administration Course, where she was placed with NM as part of her working experience in 1991 and basically we never let her go ! She is our longest serving member of the team having started as an office junior, progressing through a number of roles to ultimately lead our Accounts Team at Stafford.
As business and finance manager at Stafford, Louise has a variety of responsibiliities to the Directors, some of which include
- Human Resources - including negotiating Contracts of Employment, meetings with staff, maintenance of holiday system, advertising and general recruitment
- Accounts - dealing with PAYE Payroll, In house tax matters, strategic financial planning for meetings
- General Administration - dealing with day to day office queries, maintaining office and personnel files, a variety of IT roles, support to staff re accounting queries, general accounts matters such as postings - petty cash - problem solving and dealing with Legal Aid Statements

In her spare time Louise enjoys time with the family, eating out with friends and walking.
