Senior Caseworker - Family

Lauren is a member of our Family Law team, working with Director and Head of Family Law, Carly Colclough.

Lauren supports Nowell Meller clients across both our Stafford and Stoke on Trent offices and she can advise in relation to:

  • Divorce and Civil Partnership Dissolution
  • Financial matters including pension and income provisions on separation
  • Spousal and Child maintenance
  • Children arrangements
  • Co-habitation disputes
  • Separation Agreements - helping separating couples to define how they intend to live apart, deal with finances and arrangements for children
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Change of Name - whether relating to marriage or divorce

Clients: Lauren acts for a wide range of clients with differing needs and from varying backgrounds and is recommended by existing clients of the firm and local professionals who appreciate Lauren's down to earth and professional style.

Accreditations: CILEx Level 2 Certificate in Legal Studies. Level 3 Certificate in Family Law and Practice. Further Level 3 Certificates in Criminal Law, Law of Tort, Contract Law, Legal Research, Client Care Skills and Introduction to Law and Practice.

Personal Background: Lauren grew up on the coast of Kent before relocating to Central London for a number of years.  She now lives in the Wolverhampton region after relocating to the West Midlands.

Lauren enjoys cooking, live music and spending time outdoors with friends and family.   

Education: After leaving school, Lauren began working within a Family Department in a seaside town in Kent.  In 2016, after 4 years working within a family law environment, Lauren dediced to enrol with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and commenced her studies and examinations with a long germ goal to qualify as a Legal Executive / Advocate specialising in family law. 

Lauren is now only 1 year away from achieving her goal to achieve full CILEx qualification.
