Retirement of Former Senior Partner

John Langford, former Senior Partner of Nowell Meller & Nowell, retired from his role as Director and Chairman to take on a new role as Consultant with the practice. John, who had been with the practice throughout his practising career, first joined the firm in 1974 and became a leading and well-respected figure in the local legal and business communities. His contribution to the area was recognised when he was made a "Stafford Champion" at the time of the Queen's visit in 2006 to mark the 800th anniversary of the town's charter.

Although no longer handling new client work himself, John continues to fulfil an important role as ambassador for the practice and provides on-going support for other members of our private client team. He now works on a part-time basis.
