Paying for Our Services

A STRAIGHTFORWARD GUIDE

It is an unfortunate fact that Public Funding (Legal Aid) is no longer available to the majority of claimants , and only for limited types of cases.

We have responded to this challenge by listening to what our clients want from a solicitor when it comes to billing policy.

Therefore, we promise not to wait until the end of a case to give you  a single invoice containing a total sum for every item of work we have done since day one.

Instead we will strive at all stages of your matter to give you accurate costs information and will not undertake any major item of work until you are happy for us to go ahead.

We are sure that you will find this approach to be both refreshing and flexible, ensuring that above all your needs will be put first .

We hope the following information is useful in deciding which payment option is best for you.

OUR FEES STRUCTURE
Our Litigation Department is a compact, close-knit team with a wealth of expertise and experience . Your case will be handled with professionalism and integrity by a fully qualified solicitor.

Every case is individually assessed but we will customarily require from you a deposit on account of fees, in advance, before commencing work. In most cases we are able to keep this amount to £200.00 or less.

COST OF 'A SOLICITOR'S LETTER'
For situations where you feel that an initial solicitors letter is all that you require we offer a fixed fee service at £75.00 plus VAT.

This covers:

the cost of taking your initial instructions,
issuing the letter, 
copying it to you and confirming our advice to you in writing, and
monitoring for an agreed period of time for reply . 

Payment is requested in advance .

 


PAYMENT OPTIONS

We have put in place many systems with a view to allowing you to make payment in a way that is convenient for you . We will be happy to discuss which suits you best .

You can pay:

  • By Credit Card ( Visa , MasterCard )
  • Payment Card ( Switch , Solo, Visa Electron , Maestro )
  • By Standing order from your Bank Account
  • By Standing Order from your Credit Card
  • In Monthly , Quarterly , or other regular instalments
